This may seem obvious, but the biggest advantage of buying a new-construction home is that it’s new! Your new home—and the products that comprise it—are brand-new and under warranty. When buying a used home, various components may be reaching the end of their useful life. From major components like an air conditioner (7-15 years), or refrigerator (9-13 years), to some of the often-forgotten maintenance needs like caulk (5-10 years), when buying an existing property be sure to understand the inherent costs you’ll take-on depending on the age of the home and its components.

Plus, the latest building systems and components are designed and engineered to work together which results in less immediate care and maintenance; the chances of having to replace a drafty window or a broken pipe are significantly lower than an existing home, meaning less stress and less money spent while everything is still new.

Our talented designers start by helping our buyers personalize their lighting, electrical, plumbing and low-voltage (e.g. speakers and TV) layouts. Our designers also create and curate an extensive catalog of up-to-date fixtures and material finishes, meet with buyers to guide them through the selections process, and then interface with our contractors to ensure each home is built to the owner’s specifications.

Want a split floorplan? Extra-large island? A laundry room versus a laundry closet? New homes come with some of the design elements that today’s lifestyle demands: open kitchens with abundant cabinetry, high ceilings, walk-in closets, and large master baths.
